Iowa Marriage Amendment

The Iowa House of Representatives recently voted 62-37 in favor of allowing Iowans a vote on same-sex marriage with a proposed marriage amendment to the state constitution.

The bill now goes to the Senate, where Majority Leader Michael Gronstal has repeatedly pledged to use his power as Majority Leader to block it from coming to a vote, even if it costs him his seat.

Using the form below, please take a moment to send emails to Senator Gronstal and to your own state senator, urging a Senate floor vote on this important issue.
