  • Tell Congress to Pass the Military Religious Freedom Protection Act

Just months after the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, there is a full-on battle for marriage raging within our nation's armed forces.

Last April, the Navy issued new "sensitivity training" guidelines that required Navy chaplains to perform same-sex marriages. Thanks to leadership from Congressmen Tim Huelskamp and Todd Akin, the Navy backed down and rescinded the guidelines.

In September, the Department of Defense issued two more memos, requiring all military facilities to be available for same-sex weddings and allowing chaplains to participate in same-sex ceremonies.

Recognizing this growing threat to the religious liberty of our armed forces, Rep. Tim Huelskamp of Kansas introduced the Military Religious Freedom Protection Act (H.R. 3828) to protect chaplains from being forced to participate in same-sex marriages and any servicemen or women from being discriminated against because of their views on marriage.

Please send a message to your congressman, urging him or her to support HR 3828 today!

  • Tell Christie to Withdraw Nomination of Pro-SSM Judge For Extremist Views Equating Christianity and Slavery

I need your help right now to stop Gov. Christie from making a horrible mistake-appointing a radically pro-gay marriage anti-Christian judge to the state supreme court.

Gov. Chris Christie has been the hope of millions of Americans across the country looking for honest conservative leadership.

Last week we asked you to thank Gov. Christie for saying he will follow through on his campaign promise to veto same-sex marriage.

This week, we have urgent and terrible news to report---Gov. Chris Christie's nominee to the New Jersey Supreme Court is not only an outspoken advocate for gay marriage, he has extreme and hateful views equating traditional Christian views on sex and marriage with slavery.

This kind of intemperate and extreme view should be totally unacceptable in a GOP judicial nominee.

Please, right now, send Gov. Christie a message keep him from making a terrible mistake marring his record; Tell Christie: "Withdraw the Bruce Harris nomination today." Protect our judiciary from radically unconservative judges with extremist views favoring gay marriage and equating Christianity with slavery.

  • Help Stop Same-Sex Marriage in Washington!

In early January, Governor Gregoire announced her support for same-sex marriage. Days later, legislators introduced SSM legislation in both the House and Senate. And with 50 House co-sponsors and 23 co-sponsors in the Senate, advocates are just two votes shy of passing the bill for Gov. Gregoire's signature.

We need a massive outpouring of grassroots opposition to stop them. Please join us today!

You can send a message to your legislators today, and then urge your friends and family to join you in this important effort.

  • New Hampshire SSM Repeal Vote

Out-of-state billionaires used their fortunes to force same-sex marriage on the people of New Hampshire. But when voters had their say, an electoral landslide reset the legislature, forcing legislators to listen to their constituents and creating an opportunity to repeal the same-sex marriage regime.

In February, the New Hampshire legislature will vote on a bill that would repeal same-sex marriage, restoring the definition of marriage and reinstating the civil unions compromise that was approved by the legislature in 2007.

You can send an email to your state legislators, urging them to vote YES on House Bill 437 to restore marriage in New Hampshire.

  • Thank Senate President Mike Miller!

Maryland Democratic Senate President Mike Miller's courageous comments urging "Evangelicals, Catholics, and African Americans" to come together to stop same-sex marriage in Maryland have already come under attack from gay marriage advocates. Miller continued, "I'm a historian and I look at civilizations, I study civilizations, I read history every night. And I see it's an attack on the family, I think it's an attack on traditional families. That's the way I see it."

With Governor O'Malley, Equality Maryland and the Human Rights Campaign mounting an all-out assault on marriage this year, Senator Miller needs to hear from voters who stand for marriage—especially over the next 48 hours as he is condemned by gay marriage advocates.

You can send an email to Senator Miller, thanking him for standing up in defense of marriage and Maryland's families.

  • DOMA Defense

Led by Sen. Diane Feinstein, Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee have pushed through a bill to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, setting the stage for a showdown on the Senate floor.

Don't let Senator Feinstein force her San Francisco values on the entire nation!

You can send a message to your Senators in Washington—urging them to stand for marriage and to vigorously oppose any effort that would eliminate DOMA and its protections for state marriage laws. A copy of your message will also be sent to Democratic leaders Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
