As you know, we are in a critical period in our work to protect the rights of Americans to be free of government persecution for living out the truth of marriage in their daily lives and at work. We are pushing legislation in Congress and working with allies in the states to fight back against the relentless effort of the Obama administration to advance their dangerous gender ideology. We are rallying public opinion to contest the effort of wealthy elites such as billionaire sports owners to redefine humanity itself — demanding that men be treated as "women" based on some vague "gender identity" claim.

BREAKING: A Win in the US Supreme Court

News broke that the US Supreme Court has blocked a ruling of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals imposing a transgender bathroom policy by interpreting the term "sex" under Title IX of federal law to mean "gender identity." This is a big victory and protects students in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland and comes as students will be heading back to school soon. The ruling is a blow to the Obama administration which has been working overtime to impose the gender ideology of LGBT extremists.

Support HR 5053 to Stop IRS Abuses

Important legislation inspired by the illegal leak of NOM's confidential donor information to our chief political opponent by the IRS is making its way through Congress. It has passed the House of Representatives and now is moving to the Senate. HR 5053, the Preventing IRS Abuse and Protecting Free Speech Act authored by Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL), would prohibit the IRS from collecting individual donor information from nonprofit entities, including NOM. We urge you to contact your federal Senators urging them to support this critical legislation.

The March For Marriage Is On!

Great news — we've received official word that our permit application for the 2016 March for Marriage has been approved, and we are moving forward! The March is set for Saturday, June 25th, from 11:30am until 2:00pm. Please mark your calendar to attend and spread the word to everyone that you know. This year's March will protest the outrageous, anti-constitutional and illegitimate decision of the US Supreme Court redefining marriage. This was a decision wholly unsupported by the law and lacking any legal foundation.

Demand Support of FADA

It's been ten months since Sen. Mike Lee and Rep. Raul Labrador introduced the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) protecting the right of Christians and people of faith to live out the truth of marriage in their daily lives and at work without fear of being punished for doing so by the federal government. Over two hundred members of Congress have added their names as co-sponsors of the legislation (S. 1598/HR 2802) but that's about all they have done. No hearings have been scheduled and nothing of substance is happening to actually enact the legislation. It looks like all talk and no action from a do-nothing Congress.
